Q: How does the cork fabric feel?

A: The best way to describe it is as smooth as the top of a brie cheese! :-) Seriously speaking it is extremely soft, many people are telling us that it is smoother than leather, it feels extremely warm. Back to Top

Q: How durable is the cork fabric?

A: Our Cork wallets and purses are very sturdy and will last even if you carry them every day. The specific honeycomb structure of the cork makes it highly abrasion resistant and has a high friction coefficient. Cork is also naturally water repellent, stain resistant and scratch-proof. After all, cork can safely keep wines for centuries no? Back to Top

Q: Why is cork a sustainable resource?

A: That's the kind of question we love to answer! Cork trees can live anywhere from 200-300 years. The first harvesting of the cork does not occur until the tree reaches about 90 cm in circumference, this is to ensure that the tree is healthy. After that, trees will be harvested every 9 years, once they reach maturity. The harvest process does not harm the tree; only the bark is stripped to harvest the cork. The tree continues to live and grow; as soon as the tree is harvested, it begins the process all over again. Back to Top

Q: Who does design your products?

A: We design the majority of our products; however some have been designed by designers working directly with our suppliers. We often work from a base and then customise it to our customer's needs. We also design products entirely from scratch. Back to Top

Q: What does make your products unique?

A: It is more than the fact that they are made of natural cork or bamboo. What makes them unique is that there aren't 2 alike and this is due to the fact that each cork sheet used to make a wallet or a purse is itself unique. The same goes for the bamboo used to handcraft our pens. Since our products are handmade each worker will bring a touch of uniqueness too! Back to Top

Q: How do I clean my wallet or purse made of cork?

A: Simply wipe the stain with a soft damp cloth. Cork is naturally water repellent, so there is no risk of damaging your wallet. We've found out that baby wipes work also very well. For more information, please see our article here.  Back to Top

Q: Are you shipping internationally?

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: Shipping usually takes 1 day within the UK, 3 to 5 business days in Europe and 5 to 7 business days for the rest of the World. Note that you may experience a longer delay due to customs clearance procedure at destination. Q: Will I pay any import fees?

A: We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes and duties. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. This applies only to orders shipped out of EuropeBack to Top

Q: Are your products warranted?

A: All our products are warranted against defects or malfunction for a 1 year starting from the date of purchase. If your item is eligible for our warranty policy we will send a replacement (same model and colour). If we no longer have your item in stock, we will issue a refund.

Please note that because cork and bamboo are natural materials, the delivered item may slightly differ in colour and grain from the one presented on our website.

Examples of qualifying manufacturing defects include: problems with zipper, magnet button, loose stitching or lining, hardware malfunction, broken parts.

Please note our warranty does not cover lost or stolen items, improper care, normal wear and tear, neglect or accidents.

Replacement
After inspection, a replacement will be shipped to you.

Refund
Once the item is returned to us and it has been inspected, a refund will be issued.

Please note that as per our policy, the customer is responsible for shipping a product back to us. We recommend sending your item with a tracking number. Friluk cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged parcel. Back to Top

Q: I am not satisfied with my purchase, what do I do?

A: Please contact us here or via our email address assistance@friluk.com. We will issue a full refund provided that the item is returned to us in its original packaging and in perfect condition. Please note that as per our policy, the customer is responsible for shipping a product back to us. We recommend sending your item with a tracking number. Friluk cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged parcel. Back to Top
